About ‘The Inkpot and The Ufo’ by Mr White Takes Pictures
This photo was taken on a quiet morning under an overcast sky. Here I was looking for a low angle, making the building look even grander than it already is. Whenever I walk through town, I always check to see if I can spot the UFO too. Because of the great contrasts in the shot, I opted for black and white.

I am Martijn Wit and I like to photograph nature in my neighbourhood, but I also love to capture the city and the night. I love the play of light in combination with the vintage lenses I use. I like doing macro and close-up photography, so I often lie on my stomach among the bushes. My focus is often on the tranquillity that, if you look closely, can be found everywhere.
