Lu Rusciu te lu Mare_The Echoes of the Ocean

The work is an original painting with an Italian touch! The theme is about deep emotions of love and longing, of great passion and the murmur of the sea.
Inspired by a very old typical song from Puglia-Southern Italy!

I have recently started living in southern Italy with my husband and everyone knows the song, very beautiful. There are lots of versions of it.

It tells the impossible love story between a noble lady and a soldier, at a time when no one could escape their roles.

A Tale of Love and Longing

This painting is part of a diptych and I got to create it for an Italian couple! The woman mainly wanted bright, warm and cheerful colours and the rest was free.

It was made abstract and intuitive with that song in mind. I painted it with a lot of love at the time and the buyer was also very happy with it!

This work is warm and really suits passionate people with Mediterranean decor, for example.
With this, you get a real love story in your home with the energy of water, the ocean, source of life!

Original painting is 50 by 35 cm in width.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
