Vincent van Gogh is a great inspiration to try to recreate and draw his painting . So many colours , so many different techniques. This is the little church in the town of Arles in southern France where van Gogh lived for a long time. The church stands out against the azure sky , the air shimmering with warmth.
Will never be able to match him but it is worth trying with different media.
Here I have used oil chalk so that
the colours run into each other and make nice shadows.
