The seagulls on the IJmuiden harbor jetty.
What I like about walking on the south pier of IJmuiden. The seagulls the sea the raw landscape The ships on the North Sea and the industry in the background.
Two different worlds coming together and yet separated by the south pier. And in between the seagulls are always flying in search of a fish a crab or a starfish.
These gulls ready to fly away I could just photograph them. It became a raw photo as I like it. And what I think fits well with the big blocks of bites and the raw surfaces of the south pier.
It is a special landscape made with human hands.

Frayed edges of the cities and industrial areas. But also the villages
and the coasts.
