About ‘The threshold between reality and myth’ by Walter G. Allgöwer

At Lake Hopfensee, as the day bows out in gold and glow, a silent gateway between the worlds opens. The mountains of the Ostallgäu stand like ancient guardians at the water’s edge, their silhouettes softly traced by the breath of the clouds. The lake itself becomes a mirror of a dream: a second firmament, a second land, a second present, shimmering beneath the surface like a hidden realm.
The light of the sunset drifts across the waves like a wandering messenger bearing tales from times long past. One might think the ancient myths of the Allgäu are still whispered here – of mountain spirits dancing in the evening glow, and of lakes that are gateways to those places where time gathers and scatters once more.
At this moment, Hopfen am See lies like a village on the edge of a world of legends. Every breath becomes a prayer, every reflection a verse. And as the sun sinks behind the peaks, it seems as though the world pauses for a moment to listen to itself – and the walker standing here listens too.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
