About ‘Time flies away’ by Sander Poppe

Early in the morning, even before sunrise, there is a unique atmosphere on the Dutch coast near Vlissingen. With stunning views over the harbour and the sea, visitors are immersed in a special experience. The lights along the quay are still on, reflecting warmly in the flowing water, as the city slowly awakens. It is stormy and rough; the wind howls over the waves and the salt water splashes up far above the breakwaters. Yet this is precisely the moment when Vlissingen shows its pure, authentic character.

For photography lovers, Vlissingen offers a unique playing field just before sunrise. The contrast between the artificial light of the harbour, the dark sky and the first signs of morning light makes every image special. The power of nature and the dynamics of the sea are palpable here. Even if it is difficult to keep your camera steady due to the wind, the view of the North Sea provides an unforgettable experience.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
