If you live in Arnhem, you probably visit the Hoge Veluwe at some point, for a hiking or biking trip.
As a child I used to visit the woods almost every weekend; Lappendeken or the Rozendaalse veld. Always watching for critters, and looking for mushrooms.
Once grown up and with a camera in my hand it is no different.
Still I crawl and lie on the ground, camera in hand.
Fortunately, I didn't have to lie so flat on my stomach for this image; this was at eye level for me. Funnily enough, I didn't realize the scene until after I was first occupied with another mushroom.
My favorite part of the photo, however, is the spider web. Without it, you wouldn't even think it was alive, but the unexpected part in the photo gives it much more life.
