This artwork consists of a rhythmic composition of overlapping, ring-shaped forms painted in transparent watercolour. The circular elements fill almost the entire picture plane and appear to float freely above the white paper. Their repetition creates a playful pattern that exudes both structure and movement.

The colour palette is dominated by shades of blue, purple, magenta, pink and red, complemented by subtle shades of grey and brown. The watercolour technique produces soft colour gradients, transparent layers and spontaneous accumulations of pigment. In various places, colours blend into one another, creating a lively and organic effect. The visible brushstrokes and water marks emphasise the handmade nature of the work. The shapes are reminiscent of open circles, rings, discs or natural structures formed by erosion or growth. Some edges are sharp and clearly defined, whilst others fade into the paper. This contrast between control and chance is characteristic of watercolour and lends the work a dynamic tension.

The composition has no central focal point; the eye moves constantly from one shape to another. The overlaps create depth, whilst the white openings within the rings provide air and balance. Despite the repetition of a single basic shape, the image remains varied due to differences in size, colour intensity and texture.

The overall impression is abstract, contemporary and expressive. The work evokes associations with cellular structures, coral forms, the movement of water or microscopic organisms, without depicting any specific subject. This leaves room for personal interpretation.
