About "Wernigerode - the colorful city on the Harz Mountains"

About the artwork

The popular town of Wernigerode with its historic town center and elaborately restored and colorful half-timbered houses is located on the northern edge of the Harz Mountains. The nickname "colorful city on the Harz" was coined by the German writer Hermann Löns at the end of the 19th century. The town hall on the market square, the leaning house, the smallest house and the oldest house are just some of these features that make up the rich half-timbered idyll of Wernigerode.

Particularly worth seeing are also the remains of the town fortifications, the Krummelsche Haus, the front of which is completely covered with a carved wooden facade, and of course Wernigerode Castle®, which towers majestically over the town and provides visitors with interesting facts about the 800-year history of the counts and princes of Wernigerode in living quarters, some of which were originally furnished.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
