About ‘When the sea comes’ by Sander Poppe

The coastal walk between Eyemouth and St Abbs is among the most beautiful routes in Scotland. On this impressive walk, you will pass rugged cliffs, quiet bays and unspoilt countryside. In one of these hidden bays, where the tide was slowly rising and the traces of a small storm could still be felt, a breathtaking spectacle unfolded. The dark clouds and splashing water gave the place a special, almost mysterious atmosphere.

Using a long shutter speed, I managed to transform the wild nature of the sea into a serene scene. The sharp rocks on the shore stood out powerfully against the soft, almost milky water. The movement of the waves turned into a dreamy haze, giving the Scottish coast an almost magical appearance. This photo therefore perfectly shows how power and tranquillity can come together in nature.

Walking between Eyemouth and St Abbs is highly recommended for anyone who loves rugged landscapes, adventure and photography. The routes offer unprecedented views over the North Sea, and the many bays and rocky outcrops make each walk unique. Be surprised by the primal power of the Scottish coast and experience for yourself how beauty reveals itself after a passing storm. Discover Berwickshire's hidden gems!

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
