Where does the path lead us, the girl, judging by the expression on her face, also wonders. The path in the foreground is illuminated by moonlight, which of course is mainly due to the shiny stones with which the path is paved. along both sides of the path are gravestones. Because of the moonlight and therefore because it is otherwise dark, it looks ominous. The girl's questioning face is also illuminated by moonlight. Flying above the path, wait those are not birds, but they are angels and that is of course much better. Surely an angel really represents something good. And so the question really is where this path leads: to the good, something positive or to the bad, something negative. Still, the colours in this surreal and perhaps magical work are warm. Orange, yellow and brown dominate, naturally in multiple shades. An atmospheric work that nevertheless raises many questions.
As an artist, I like to enter a colorful world especially the world of flowers. This colourful and so positive world appeals to me enormously. Flowers spread a positive atmosphere because of the colors and the beautiful and diverse shapes and one can never get enough of that!.. Read more…
