About the artwork

Wilhelminapier is a highly urban area on the Kop van Zuid in Rotterdam . Administratively it falls since March 3, 2010 under the Feijenoord ( previously under the center of Rotterdam) .
The rectangular area is located along the Nieuwe Maas at the foot of the Erasmus Bridge , and since the turn of the century is characterized by high-rise buildings and modern amenities . Near the Wilhelmina Pier since 1997 Wilhelmina Square, the metro station . Since 2001 the new Luxor Theatre is located on the Wilhelmina Pier. End of 2013 , the Rotterdam , designed by Rem Koolhaas delivered . Was This building is 150 meters high .
