This is one of my all time favourite images and I think that this photograph would not have worked in any other season and in other conditions. The small oak tree on the left with its curved branches adds a feeling of animation to the scene, whilst the trees in the foreground form diagonal lines.The background is hugely chaotic in other conditions, but the fog and snow hid all of this from sight, making this a picture that I could only have dreamt of. It made me hard my breath when I saw it, it was like a winter fairytale
