About ‘Wish it was Spring’ by Maria Meester
Oil painting in vibrant green and warm orange, composed of horizontal layers. Shades of green are interspersed with orange and red accents, with visible brushstrokes and a layered paint texture. The repetition of colour and direction gives the work rhythm and an uplifting character.
