About ‘winter cold’ by Yvonne Blokland

Mid-December 2022, a couple of days of decent frost. In the morning, some fog/mist and frozen grass. In the morning hours just after sunrise, there was always a true blue sky and very soft light.
So out and about in my beautiful Alblasserwaard. Pretty cold, though. But you have to give something for it right?
My hiking trail was beautiful! Some frozen cart tracks, frozen ditches, bare trees and nobody to be seen. Enjoyment with a big G. By the way, the Alblasserwaard is one of the most beautiful polders in our country. Despite the fact that I was born and raised there and have therefore lived there for a long time, I keep seeing it. And to be perfectly honest: I find it at its most beautiful in this kind of weather. Of course, every season has its charm but still.......

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
