About ‘Blue Port’ by Jeroen de Jongh Photography

HafenCity is a district of the German city of Hamburg, centrally located in the district of Hamburg-Mitte. HafenCity is formed by a number of river peninsulas of the Elbe, including Kehrwieder and Wandrahm and the old harbour Großen Grasbrooks, located on the former Grasbrook river peninsula.

In HafenCity, the old free trade zone of Hamburg's port is once again being extensively repopulated by redeveloping the space with offices, hotels, residential areas and public buildings with the Elbphilharmonie as a landmark. The intention is to increase the number of residents from just under 2,000 in 2013 to 12,000 within a period of about 10 years, with office space for 45,000 employees. Because of its size, this master plan for urban development is considered one of the largest in Europe and is partly inspired by Docklands in London.

This makes HafenCity the youngest part of the city. It was formed on 1 March 2008, as a result of the legislation 'Gesetz über die räumliche Gliederung der Freien und Hansestadt Hamburg) - RäumGlG'. The cultural heritage of Speicherstadt is also located in HafenCity, where it used to be part of the Altstadt.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
