About ‘Bridge at Ehze estate’ by Nico van Haastrecht
Near the village of Almen is the Ehze estate. The bridge gives access to the castle that already served as headquarters during the battle between De Heeckerens and the Bronckhorsten, around 1300. (source wiki) The work is done in black and white with harsh contrast, like the stone of the bridge and the lovely surroundings.
