About ‘Brillangoer’ by Bjorn Alards

High up among the branches, the spectacled langur gazes curiously at the world. With its striking white rings around the eyes, it almost looks as if it is wearing spectacles, which is how this remarkable monkey got its name. In the photo, it radiates both calm and curiosity. Its soft fur and gentle gaze make it not only impressive, but also surprisingly friendly to look at.

The spectacled langur lives mainly in the tropical forests of Southeast Asia and spends most of its life among the trees. There, it moves nimbly from branch to branch, always alert to what is happening around it. Despite its calm demeanour, it is a clever and social species that often lives in groups. That makes it all the more special to see such a moment captured up close.

What makes this photo so beautiful is the natural atmosphere. The greenery of the forest provides a stunning backdrop and makes the golden langur’s unique features stand out even more. You can almost feel the silence of the jungle and the tranquil rhythm of nature. The image reminds us just how special wild animals are when you take a moment to really look at them. A brief moment full of character, tranquillity and pure beauty.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
