About ‘Calm Security’ by Tymn Lintell

Looking at this photograph, I hope you can sense that magical stillness of Weymouth Harbour at first light - when the world hasn't woken yet, when boats rest in pre-dawn quiet, and the coming day announces itself in soft gold and blue. This is the calm before departure: boats preparing, sailors stirring, new journeys about to begin.
I've photographed this harbour for decades, but dawn requires dedication - you must be there before light, waiting, trusting the sky will deliver. That silhouetted architecture framing the water, those masts creating vertical anticipation against horizontal calm, boats reflecting in mirror-still surface - this is maritime possibility distilled to its essence.
What moves me is how dawn reverses everything: "The Harbour Mouth" shows boats arriving home; this shows boats about to leave. Both celebrate the same protective harbour, but this is inhale, not exhale. Preparation, not rest. The security of knowing you CAN venture out because you have a safe harbour to return to.
Perfect for home offices (new day, fresh start), kitchens (morning energy), or anywhere seeking hopeful beginnings over dramatic endings. The horizontal format works beautifully above desks or breakfast tables. Available as museum-quality photographic prints in multiple sizes.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
