About ‘Colourful sunset Kinderdijk’ by Gerard Stasse Fotografie

What a beautiful, colourful and cold sunset that was! beautiful how the reflections reflected in the ice lying on the vliet!

Kinderdijk is a piece of UNESCO world heritage and there are still 19 working windmills from the earlier years. A beautiful area from which I get a lot of inspiration for my works and photography.

The photo speaks warmth, colour and energy! I get tremendous energy again after such'a shoot with all those warm colours! I love it when the energy disappears for a while, just to look at this picture and absorb the warmth and energy again and get back to work and/or our daily activities!

I placed the camera with tripod on the ice here to be able to take a low position with the camera and thus keep various disturbances out of the picture. Furthermore, the polarisation filter was used here.

I hope I can inspire you with this piece of work by me and the windmills of Kinderdijk.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
