How lucky we were this evening. What a sunset! It was on a beautiful spring evening on the Dutch Coast near Domburg. A place we love to visit, between Westkapelle and Domburg, on the beach.
On arrival, everything was still shut tight. The cloud cover over the North Sea was very calm. Until, in a moment, everything changed. Towards sunset, the wind picked up even harder and over the Walcheren coastline, the cloud cover was pulled apart. And how beautiful Zeeland is then.
The wind in your hair, the salt settling on everything. Photo-wise, it was hard work for a while. Keeping filters clean, watching the waves, focusing and how it falls. But this Zeeuw put a big smile on my face.
And then everything fell into place. The sunlight on the dunes, the colours in the sky. The sea and beach offer a beautiful interplay of lines. Endless Dutch Coastline. That makes me happy!
My passion is to capture the beauty of the landscape through photography. In recent years, I have visited several coastlines, as that is where my passion lies above all else.
