About ‘Fishing poles’ by Jules van Rosmalen
At the end of the day the light became soft, the wind had died down and there was still some colour in the distance. To create a calm image, the exposure was extended and as it was almost windless, the fishing poles remained nice and sharp.
This was a nice ending to a day of shooting at the coast.

At the age of 18 I bought my first camera to capture the beautiful images I encountered on my walks. 45 years later I still do this.
I am often outside before dawn and I love to see the sun go down. The colors are great and it fascinates me.
