I love the forest floor in this tiny woodland. It consists almost entirely of blueberry bushes which creates a green carpet at the feet of these tiny oak trees. These oak trees are all very small in height, yet they have such personality due to their whimsical shapes. I like how they seem to be interacting with each other. On this morning I had hoped for some mist, but this did not happen and there was just a little haze in the background when the sun was starting to climb above the horizon. I spotted some tiny sunstars in the frame just before I made the image and this added some magic to the image.
