Drawing is one of my favorite pastimes. I used to fill my school exercise books. Later I filled the margins during meetings. Eventually this grew into an existence as a professional, freelance illustrator.
I draw and write books for children. Sometimes I work on commission, or I make the book myself.
The illustrating is done by hand. My favorite drawing material is ecoline. Because the colors are so beautiful, but also because you can achieve very nice effects with ecoline using salt, lemon or chlorine.
