The artwork shows a close-up of a modern glass façade at Potsdamer Platz in Berlin. The structure consists of large glass panels held by a precisely constructed metal frame. The geometric arrangement of the elements creates an exciting pattern that is further enlivened by the reflections of the sky and clouds. The façade thus acts not only as an architectural element, but also as a projection surface for its surroundings.
The idea for this work arose from the desire to visualise the interface between architecture and atmosphere. I am fascinated by how modern buildings not only define space, but also capture light, movement and perspective. Potsdamer Platz, as a symbol of Berlin's urban transformation, provides an ideal backdrop for this.
With this picture I want to create a calm, almost meditative atmosphere. The clear lines and reflections invite you to pause and consciously perceive the complexity of urban structures. It is about the interplay of construction and transience - captured in a moment.
In interior design, this work acts as an elegant, modern accent. It fits particularly well in light-flooded rooms with a clear design language and lends them an architectural depth that is both functional and inspiring.
