About ‘Green light’ by Marjolein Brokke

‘Light in the Green’ is a unique print for your home. It is an abstract work inspired by nature. It is the first in a series of three works on the same theme. It symbolises how light warms the earth and brings about growth and blossoming.

A textile artwork I saw gave me the idea to create the background as if it were made up of patches. From there, this series of paintings emerged in various compositional variations.

The colours are mainly shades of green and butter yellow with accents of grey, pink and warm red. This work features a clear contrast between dark grey-green tones – via ochre yellow and light yellow – to pink-red and terra. This contrast is linked by tendrils of climbing and hanging greenery and blossom.

In your home, this print looks stunning with grey, green, butter yellow, soft pink and terra. You choose by considering what this painting does for you and evokes in you, and whether it suits your interior. If you can’t choose from this series, choose all three. They look lovely together.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
