About ‘Inner fire’ by Nelleke Bruno

My inspiration for this image is the drive to create beautiful, abstract paintings.

In this work, I have used several layers of blue and black plus red and yellow in the middle. And the different layers are laid on thickly. I think that's easy to see. It gives a nice effect...

This is one of my first abstract works, hence the title and image. Making abstract paintings is much more difficult than you can oversee at first. There is no handhold like realistic works and you have to take a leap of faith to put something on canvas that matches your feelings at the time.

I get a lot of pleasure and satisfaction from it. It gives much more freedom and it is also surprising what the final result will be.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
