About ‘Ladies View’ by Antwan Janssen

Located along Ireland's famous Ring of Kerry, Ladies View is one of the country's most breathtaking viewpoints. This scenic point offers panoramic views of the vast lakes and mountains of Killarney National Park, and is a must-see for anyone who wants to experience the beauty of Ireland's countryside.

The name "Ladies View" goes back to a visit by Queen Victoria's ladies-in-waiting in 1861, who were so impressed by the spectacular scenery that the viewpoint has since been named after them. From this point, you can enjoy the sweeping views of Upper Lake and the surrounding mountains of MacGillycuddy's Range, which change in different colours each season, from lush green in spring and summer to warm hues in autumn.

Ladies View is easily accessible via the N71, and there is a small car park where visitors can stop to take in the view. It is a popular stop for travellers exploring the Ring of Kerry, and offers excellent opportunities for photography, especially during the early morning or late afternoon when the light magically illuminates the landscape.

A visit to Ladies View is an experience that captures the essence of Ireland: pristine nature, rich history, and breathtaking views that touch your heart and soul. As you can see on this site my preference goes to landscapes, wildlife but also to the local population, mostly abroad but certainly also in our beautiful Netherlands. In recent years, several of my photos have won awards in both national and international photo competitions.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
