About ‘Lago di Carezza’ by Loris Photography

In Ladin, Lago di Carezza is called "Lec de ergobando", which means rainbow lake - the water has all the colours of the rainbow. The legend of the nymph from Lago di Carezzo explains why this is so. Once upon a time there lived a beautiful water nymph in Lake Carezza. She often sat on the shore of the lake and sang softly while braiding her blond hair. The witch master of Masaré heard her singing and fell in love. He used all his power to kidnap the nymph, but she always managed to escape. The witch master asked his friend Langwerda for help. Langwerda advised him to dress up as a jewel merchant, strike a rainbow from one mountain massif Catinaccio/Rosengarten to another mountain massif Latemar and then go to Lago di Carezza to lure the damsel and abduct her.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
