About ‘Magdeburg - Albinmüller tower in the evening’ by Thomas Bugdoll

The Albinmüller Tower is an observation tower in the Rotehorn Park in Magdeburg and is one of the city's landmarks. The observation tower helps shape Magdeburg's city skyline and is located near the Elbe River on the Elbe island Werder next to the Magdeburg City Hall. With its elegance and functionality, the tower is an important example of the New Building of the 1920s.

The tower was built in 1926/27 according to a design by the architect Albin Müller (called Albinmüller) as part of the redesign of the area for the German Theater Exhibition in Magdeburg in 1927. The structure represents one of Albin Müller's most important works. The architecture of the tower takes up the ideas of a glass and light architecture of Bruno Taut, who was temporarily active in Magdeburg. In the evening, the glass spire is illuminated in color. The tower forms a vertical contrast to the Stadthalle Magdeburg, which stands directly next to it and was built at the same time, and something like a campanile.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
