About ‘Morning Red’ by Pim Weeda
While photographing dewy plants and insects in our garden, I saw this St John's butterfly sitting dewy on the wild marjoram. Just when I was going to take the first pictures the rising sun shone on the wings. I adjusted my position so that the wings, which are normally dark green, looked like gold.

After years of working as an artist and teacher I got more time to take up photography again.
