About ‘Museumplein’ by Jeroen de Jongh Photography
The Museumplein is a square and city park in the Amsterdam-Zuid district, just south of Amsterdam-Centre. It owes its name to the Rijksmuseum, which opened in 1885 and is located on the square. The Stedelijk Museum, the Van Gogh Museum, the Moco Museum and the Concertgebouw are also on Museumplein.
