Colourful, surreal portrait of Nefertete (also known as Nefertiti and Nofretete).
Nefertete was queen of Egypt's 18th dynasty and reigned as grand royal lady by the side of Akhenaten, the pharaoh who ruled Egypt at the beginning of the New Kingdom, from 1352 BC to 1338 BC.
Her name means The beautiful one has come.
Nefertiti owes much of her fame to her bust, which is kept in the Neues Museum in Berlin. From this bust is this image, which I have edited into this particular portrait using Photoshop (and with great respect).
The stylists at Art Heroes call my art style ‘Art with a Wink’. And I couldn't agree more. Life is serious enough as it is, don't you think? ;-)
