About ‘Nothing is what it seems!’ by Efraïm De Jong

This photo was taken on Ameland during the Christmas holidays,
When it is low tide the mini mountains come to life. At first glance they look like mountains, but not is what it seems. They are large boulders turned green by mother nature.

In this photo, your first impression is that they are mountains, but they are actually rocks. I chose this perspective because it is a bit of a trick of the eye.

What the photo evokes in me: When I walk on the beach and it is low tide, I experience a lot of peace and enjoy the things that are not visible at high tide.

This is also how it is in life, when the tide is out we are busy with all things in life and when the tide goes out we have more time to be able to think and we can look after others more.

21 years old and I study the pabo in Ede.
In my spare time I like to take photos, I do this purely as a hobby really so that I have a hobby. This hobby started in 2021 and today it has gotten a bit out of hand. Over the years, I have made considerable investments in lenses and I still enjoy them to this day.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
