About ‘Panorama Dordrecht’ by Sander Poppe

On a lovely summer evening, a powerful rainstorm slowly swept over the historic city of Dordrecht. As the sun broke through behind me, an enchanting play of light emerged, casting the city in a golden glow. A bright rainbow appeared in the sky, a rare and special moment that only enhanced the city's charm.

From the Zwijndrecht quay, an impressive panorama of the river Oude Maas offered itself. On the other side, Dordrecht's historic heart flaunts the imposing Grote Kerk - also known as the Church of Our Lady - which has dominated the skyline for centuries. To the right of the picture runs the bridge connecting Zwijndrecht and Dordrecht, while along the quays atmospheric buildings tell their stories of the past.

The combination of rain, sunlight and rainbow created a unique atmosphere: a perfect balance between nature and city, captured at just the right moment. The rippling water of the Oude Maas reflected the light, bringing the city to life like a painting.

For lovers of photography and historical cities, this place is highly recommended. Dordrecht is not only rich in monuments, but also offers unforgettable views from the river - moments like this make a visit to Holland's oldest city a pure experience.

Upon request, this panorama is available in larger sizes, so that the experience of this special sunset in the home or office is fully appreciated.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
