About ‘Pantheon’ by Bram de Jong
The Pantheon is an ancient temple in Rome, rebuilt in the 2nd century AD. It is a reconstruction of an earlier pantheon on this site, which was destroyed by fire in 80 AD. Pantheon (Greek: πάς pas = every / θεός theos = god) means '(dedicated to) all gods'. The Pantheon is one of the best preserved Roman buildings in the world.
