About ‘Pegasus’ by Rob Donders Beeldende kunst
The name is a reference to the intrepid Paratroopers of the British 1st Airborne Division who were dropped in Arnhem and the surrounding area during Operation Market Garden in September 1944. They had the winged horse Pegasus as a logo on their uniform.
