About "Pine Painting"

About the artwork

This must be one of my favorite images. I took this one the second day of Spring, yet the atmosphere in this forest was still cool and wintery. It was very cold and a very dense fog built up under the blue sky. This forest has lots of small pine trees instead of the usual tall and straight trees. I like trees to have a bit of shape to them and these trees being small really helped finding nice little scenes to photograph. This one immediately stood out because of the way the tree curves to the top middle of the frame where the bark on its branch has been lost. Fog is almost a necessity in this forest because without it it is quite chaotic, which is of course lovely, but not great for photography. There is this little white tree trunk just behind the dominant tree that catches the light and really adds to the scene

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
