Colorful Tibetan prayer flags. Traditionally, prayer flags come in sets of five, of each primary color one plus white and green. The five colors represent the five elements. Blue stands for "sky", white for "wind", red for "fire", green for "water" and yellow for "earth". At the same time, each color stands for one of five dhyani buddha's: blue for Akshobhya Buddha, white for Ratnasambhava Buddha, red for Amitabha Buddha, green for Amoghasiddhi Buddha and yellow for Vairocana Buddha.
