So much is happening around Pushkar Lake! This city is considered a holy city by Hindus and is an important pilgrimage site.
You are not allowed to walk there with your shoes so just wear your socks or bare feet. I always kept my socks on because of the hygiene in this country, but most people walk barefoot.

Paula Romein
Burgh-Haamstede, Netherlands
Paula Romein is a Dutch photographer who has been working for various companies since 2008. She is also a travel photographer, which is her great passion.
She began her studies at the Stichting Kunstzinnige Vorming in Rotterdam and later followed the course at Martin van Thiel's photography school in Utrecht. Paula lives with her partner Rolf and their two cats in the Zeeland village of Burgh-Haamstede.
