I photographed this scene so many times, often during workshops, but I usually don't make my best work in the company of others, but on my own. I have two favourite photographs of this spot, which were both made on the same day. There was not much fog, but there was a mysterious blue hue to it and autumn had just started. The tree trunk in the front is covered in moss whilst the others are bare, which adds some contrast to this woodland scene.
