About ‘Rügen Island’ by Walter G. Allgöwer

In January, dusk cast a soft veil over the coast of Binz as the last rays of the sun receded behind the horizon. In this magical light, between the elegance of the Kurhaus and the majestic splendour of the pier, the glass spheres rested like shining jewels on the wintry ground.
They seemed to harbour the secrets of days gone by, each sphere a window to a different time and place. Their delicate surfaces reflected the fading light and captured the memories of a day full of life and movement.
But now, in the stillness of the evening, they seemed like silent guardians of a past splendour. They told stories of past summer joys, of laughter and conversations that were once carried on the breezy coastal breeze.
The garden, a place of peace and contemplation, seemed to be slumbering under the cloak of winter, while the baubles waited like twinkling stars to be awakened by the first rays of spring.
In this tranquil setting, past and present merged into a harmonious web of memories and dreams, captured in a moment that captured the beauty and timeless magic of this place.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
