About ‘Sleeping walruses on Svalbard’ by Caroline Piek
To photograph the walruses, we went ashore on Svalbard. The walruses were in the surf and we could get a good approach. I took a low vantage point so I could photograph the sleeping walruses with the snow-capped mountain peaks of Svalbard in the background. Nice how the tusks of the walruses stick up in the air.
