About the artwork

At first glance, it’s the shadows that steal the show. Two skaters caught mid-motion, their silhouettes stretching across the concrete like figures from a graphic novel. The strong contrast between light and shadow transforms the ordinary into something cinematic. You almost forget you’re looking at a real scene.

The way the sunlight slices through the frame creates sharp angles and clean geometry—an unplanned composition that feels intentional. One rider is airborne, arms raised, frozen mid-jump. The other glides forward, steady and smooth. It’s all about movement, balance, and that moment right before landing.

There’s also a quiet stillness in the image. Maybe it’s the lack of color or the minimal background, but everything feels paused, like time stopped just for this frame. It’s street photography with a twist—less about faces, more about form, shadow, and rhythm.

A great reminder that sometimes the most powerful part of an image isn’t the subject—but its reflection.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
