About ‘Sweet Taste’ by Astrid van der Put

I thought of combining candy with a model so that it could be seen as art. Candy is always fun to look at because of its colours and shapes. But even in black and white it gives a nice effect. Colour emphasises the candy, with a black-and-white image I think it's even more of a Fine-Art work. What is your preference - black and white or colourful?

This image shows that sweets are not just for eating but also form a visual work of art full of colour and sweetness. With its strong energy and playfulness, it adds an extra dimension to this sweet art;
a balance between sophistication and fun.

My passion is photographing beautiful portraits. The series I recently made was exhibited at the Arts Centre in Waalwijk and will also be on display at the town hall here next spring.
The subject is 'Soul of the Sixties'. Inspired by the 60s.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
