About ‘The abandoned Chapel’ by John Noppen

A Protestant church in southwestern Poland. The church was designed by the German architect Karl Gotthard Langhans (designer of the Brandenburg Gate Berlin). A beautiful and richly furnished with wooden benches and provided space for 4000 people. After the war, all Germans left the village and Polish people from the east were resettled in this area. The former German inhabitants were mainly Protestant, the new Polish inhabitants mainly Catholic. Some did not want to use the church for Catholic services, so the church remained empty and unused for a long time. During the years it was robbed several times and without proper maintenance it fell into disrepair. It has been registered as a historical monument since 2016. At the moment the building is being renovated step by step and the inside has been painted in a white colour.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
