About ‘Tyrolean musicians’ by Robert van Willigenburg
Two musicians in Tyrolean costumes walk away after a Sunday morning mass on a mountaintop in the Dolomites (South Tyrol).
The photo was not staged. I was there on a mountain bike and photographed the scene at the right moment. The unexpected mass at the chapel outdoors on the mountain top was also special, but this was the photo.

Robert van Willigenburg
Amsterdam, Netherlands
Robert was trained as an all-round journalist, specialized as a photographer and still has an old-fashioned darkroom in addition to digital work. Although he mainly photographs people and journalistic situations, he successfully published the booklets Kat in de Stad on Kroegtijgers and Winkelpoezen in Amsterdam, Utrecht and The Hague. Another specialty is cycling.
