Water is the memory of the world.
It meanders, embraces, nourishes and connects all forms of life.
In Water Is Life, the colours flow like ancient currents, carrying life, metamorphoses and fragile balances. Each movement evokes a breath, each flash a reminder that nothing lives in isolation.

Water is both gentle and indomitable, a source of birth as well as a force for transformation. It flows through interior landscapes as well as real territories, blurring the boundaries between the visible and the invisible. This work celebrates the permanent circulation of energy, the interdependence between beings and the chaotic beauty of nature.

To look at Water Is Life is to remember that we are all made up of the same flows, the same currents, and that to protect water is to protect life itself.

SlowDad is my artist name. I'm a Frenchman who lived in Sweden for many years, but is now back in Occitanie, in the south of France.

I create all my work by drawing and painting digitally. I draw my inspiration from the light and warmth of my native region, but also from my memories of my time in the Nordic countries. At a time when we need more humanism.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
