About ‘Abstract purple lines’ by Joke Gorter

This is a dreamy and luxurious abstract piece, created using the alcohol ink technique. The result is an ethereal interplay of colour and sheen that feels both organic and regal.
The piece is dominated by various shades of purple, magenta and lilac. These blend seamlessly into one another, from deep, almost indigo-like edges to soft, misty pastel tones in the centre.
What immediately catches the eye is the rich addition of gold pigment. The gold behaves like liquid metal; it outlines the edges of the ink blots (‘blooms’) and forms shimmering mists across the purple areas. This gives the work immense depth and a sense of preciousness.
The organic, rounded forms are reminiscent of a nebula in the cosmos, the interior of an amethyst geode, or wisps of smoke slowly dissolving in water. The transparency of the ink creates a layered effect that invites the viewer to look ever deeper into the work.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
