The blue hour always has its very own photographic charm. When the light fades and night falls, the number of colours in the image is reduced and a mystical, clean image look is often created. This picture was taken with a long exposure time due to the dark lighting conditions, so that any movement in the water disappears and silky, shiny surfaces are created. This creates a nice counterpoint to the rugged rocks, which appear even more prominent in the picture.
Wet, smooth rocks are always a challenge for the photographer. On the way there in the light, it is not nearly as difficult as on the way back, which you usually have to do by the light of a head torch.
The image was photographed in high resolution and is printed with a great deal of expertise. This makes it ideal for very large print formats!
